How to Install IPTV Smarters Pro on Firestick: Step-by-Step (2026)

Amazon removed IPTV Smarters Pro from the Appstore years ago, along with most third-party IPTV players. If you search 'Smarters' on your Firestick, you will only find unrelated apps. The official version is still freely available — you just have to sideload it using the Downloader app.

Five-minute install if your Firestick is already running Fire OS 7 or newer (most devices from 2020 onward). Gather these before you start.

From the Firestick home screen, go to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options. If you do not see Developer Options, return to Settings → My Fire TV → About → click on the Fire TV Stick name seven times until 'Developer options unlocked' appears.

Inside Developer Options, find 'Install unknown apps' (or 'Apps from Unknown Sources' on older Fire OS). You will not toggle the master switch here — you will enable it specifically for the Downloader app in Step 3.

From the Firestick home screen, hold the microphone button on your remote and say 'Downloader'. Select the orange Downloader app by AFTVnews from the search results and click Get / Download. Wait for it to install.

Open Downloader once it finishes. Accept the terms on the first launch and grant any media permissions it requests. You only do this once.

Go back to Settings → My Fire TV → Developer Options → Install unknown apps. Find Downloader in the list and switch it to ON. This authorizes only Downloader to sideload other apps — your Firestick remains protected from accidental installs.

Open Downloader. On the Home tab, click the URL input field. Type the official IPTV Smarters Pro APK URL exactly as it appears on your provider's website. Most providers, including ViviMate, give you a short Downloader code or a clean URL on the welcome email — use whichever they recommend.

Click Go. Downloader fetches the APK (~30 MB) in under a minute on a normal connection. When the download finishes, an install prompt appears — click Install. After installation, click Done, then Delete to remove the APK file and free up storage.

Open IPTV Smarters Pro from the Firestick apps menu (Home → press right until you reach 'Your Apps & Channels'). Accept the EULA on first launch and grant media permissions.

Enter the credentials exactly as your provider sent them — they are case-sensitive. Click Add User. Within 10–20 seconds the channel list, EPG, and VOD library load into the app.

This is the single most common Firestick error. Nine times out of ten it is a typo or an outdated server URL. Firestick Wi-Fi antennas are tiny — they often pick up a weaker signal than your phone in the same room. If channels buffer constantly, the cause is almost always network, not the app.

The fastest fix is an Amazon Ethernet Adapter (around $15). Plug it between your Firestick and your router for a stable wired connection — buffering disappears on most IPTV channels. Smarters Pro does not auto-update on Firestick because it is sideloaded. When a new version is released, your provider will email you a new APK link. Repeat Step 4 with the new URL — the installer will detect the existing version and upgrade in place without losing your login.
