TiviMate IPTV Player: The Ultimate Setup Guide

If you use an Android TV box, Nvidia Shield, or Amazon Firestick, TiviMate IPTV Player is often considered the gold standard. It features a modern, cable-TV-like interface that is specifically designed for big screens and remote controls.

Unlike many free generic apps, TiviMate excels at handling massive channel lists, offering blazing-fast EPG (Electronic Program Guide) loading times, catch-up support, and multi-view capabilities. While the free version is great for basic viewing, upgrading to TiviMate Premium unlocks favorites management, scheduled recordings, and custom panel organization.

Open the Downloader app and type the official TiviMate APK URL or shortcode. Once the file downloads, click 'Install'. After installation, launch the TiviMate app to begin adding your IPTV provider's details.

TiviMate does not provide any TV channels. You must use an active subscription from an IPTV provider. TiviMate supports multiple login methods, but the two most common are Xtream Codes and M3U playlists.

To add a playlist, open TiviMate and click 'Add Playlist'. Select 'Xtream Codes' for the best experience. Enter your server URL, username, and password provided by your IPTV service. Check the box to 'Include VOD' if you want movies and series, then click 'Next'. TiviMate will process the channels and EPG, which usually takes less than a minute.

To get the most out of TiviMate, you will want the Premium version. Because Amazon devices don't support Google Play billing natively, you need to use the 'TiviMate Companion' app from an Android phone or tablet to purchase a subscription.

Download TiviMate Companion from the Google Play Store, create an account, and choose between a yearly subscription or a one-time lifetime payment. Once purchased, go back to TiviMate on your TV, click 'Unlock Premium', and log in with your TiviMate Companion credentials. You can authorize up to 5 devices per Premium account.

Once set up, tweaking a few settings can vastly improve your streaming experience. First, navigate to Settings > EPG and ensure 'Update on app start' is enabled so your TV guide is always accurate.
